New Sidewalk Shed Maintenance Requirements
To ensure that sidewalk sheds are maintained safely over the course of a job, the Department is now requiring building owners or contractors to be responsible for their upkeep. The sidewalk shed company hired by the building owner will still obtain the permits to install the shed, but now the owner or contractor must be listed on the PW2 as the applicant of record.
P. Wolfe has been helping contractors and industry professionals to understand these new procedures and file their applications and work permits with the Department of Buildings. Our dedicated team of experienced project managers can answer your questions regarding your new or existing Sidewalk Sheds.
