Project Description: The Palm Beach Home for Adults is a nursing home for senior citizens that overlooks Sheepshead Bay in Brooklyn. Outgrowing their existing space, the Home needed to expand on the current site to accommodate new residents and expanded facilities. Architects SLCE and Code & Zoning experts P.Wolfe were the right combination for their needs.
The 3-story addition to an existing 5-story structure includes a new Adult Day-Care Center on the first floor and new patient rooms overlooking Sheepshead Bay. Also, the existing Dining Room (Place of Assembly) was enlarged on the first floor.
P.Wolfe worked side-by-side with SLCE throughout the process, playing a key role in obtaining all permits and approvals, and keeping the project on-schedule and on-budget.
