Talbots is a Women’s apparel chain located at 525 Madison Ave, in New York City. With increased business, the Owner decided to upgrade the store with a major interior renovation to suit the New York lifestyle. P.Wolfe was approached by the Owner to accomplish the task.
P.Wolfe is tasked with installing a new elevator system for retailer Talbot’s at 525 Madison Ave and an interior renovation and occupancy change. P.Wolfe assembles a team of professionals to achieve the desired outcome. After a preliminary feasibility inspection, our team discovers an obstruction on the roof to the proposed plans. The condenser units of the current HVAC system obstruct the proposed location of the new elevator housing. In order to proceed with the project P.Wolfe concludes that the most efficient solution is to move these units. P.Wolfe informs the owner and then proceeds to coordinate with the contactor. During the construction phase, P Wolfe also ensured that all parties performed their contractual duties related to safety, quality, schedule, and overall contract compliance.
As Owner’s representative, P.Wolfe served as a knowledgeable resource and represented the owner’s interests in all aspects of the project. P.Wolfe’s participation mitigated the risk of schedule overruns due to obstructions and unforeseen issues. P.Wolfe’s regulatory evaluation, feasibility study, preliminary site inspection, consultant selection, design drawings verification, bidding, procurement, project management, and coordination has led the project to a high quality finish on a scheduled time frame and budget. P.Wolfe’s efforts significantly reduced costs through tighter controls verification and management strategies.
