P. Wolfe Consultants was fortunate to have participated in an interior renovation at NINE WEST of Jones Retail. This project required coordination from many agencies and trades. A special circumstance was presented in the early stages of this project, the retail outlet was located in Rockefeller Center, a New York City historic landmark. Because of this special zoning designation, P. Wolfe would first have to run all of the proposed work past the Landmarks Preservation Commission to ensure that any alterations done throughout the project would not pose a threat to the historic landmark building and its surrounding environment. Among the proposed work included HVAC throughout the building, fire alarm installation and sprinkler systems, along with various other contracting work types needed to complete the interior renovation.
After submitting all of the proposed plans to the appropriate agencies, such as the FDNY and the LPC, P. Wolfe resolved all related objections and proceeded to get the OK to begin the project. P. Wolfe then coordinated all stages of the project, including the design phase and sequence of trades during construction. Through P. Wolfe's expediting services all inspections, approvals and permitting required were obtained and completed. Once our team had finished their designated work, final inspections were coordinated with the appropriate agencies and currently await a final Certificate of Occupancy.
